We Can No Longer Wait, Give Us Our Oba In Igbesa Land – Jimo Akeran

The people of Igbesa land had long waited for a new Monarch after the demise of Oloja Ekun, late Oba Samuel Olusola Banuso. One of such expectations is reflected in an open letter that a notable and a Prince in Igbesa land, Jimo Akeran wrote to the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

The letter reads thus:

OPEN LETTER TO:
The No 1 Citizen, Ogun State, His Excellency, Governor Ibikunle Amosun, FCA, CON, High Chief Ojuko Olajide, Ogun State Commissioner for Chieftaincy $ Local Government Affairs, The Idejiyo Ruling House Igbesaland $ Humanity In General.

This was successfully done.

Omo Oba Toyin Azeez Akinde emerged victorious.

The election was challenged inthe law Court at Ota.

The court has sat over the matter and adjourned severally.

Now:
I appeal to all concerned:
Your Excellency the Governor, the Honourable Commissioner, the Idejiyo Ruling House, the Afobajes, the Elders, the Chiefs, the religious leaders, the Youths, and the well-meaning individ
