Ijamido Children Are My Biological Children – Olota of Ota, HRM Oba (Prof) AbduKabir Adeyemi Obalanlege


The Olota of Ota, HRM Oba Abdukabir Adeyemi Obalanlege (Lanlege ekun II) proved that truly he’s a typical example of a good father that knows how to care for his children regardless of their biological orientation.

The Olota of Ota showed this at the Ijamido Children’s Home when he went to the Home with some relief materials on Monday, 14th of May, 2018.

He went with promises of love to the children and to the development of the Home, he promised to support them in whatever way he can and to ensure they do not lack the good necessities of life.

The Olota of Ota further told them that they shouldn’t see themselves as children that don’t have hope as they are his own personal children and bonafide children of Awori Ota land.

He assured them of their access to good life and the basic amenities they are to enjoy as  human being. He told them not to lose hope on anything whatsoever  in as much as he is the Olota of Ota land, he will ensure they do not lack anything.

In an Interview with VOA News Correspondent, Mrs. Adetutu Eromosele (nee Willoughby) said, she is really happy for the King’s visit to the Home, it shows the King remembers them and hold them in high esteem. she however, prayed for his reign to last long.

In the same vein, Miss. Eniola Willoughby said she is elated seeing a first class king in their Home, she said she felt honoured having a personal chat with the Olota of Ota and she is also happy he showed them great love today.

Shouts of excitement rented the air as the Happy Children came all out to welcome His Royal Highness to their home.
