By: Adedeji Suliat
The Olota of Ota, Oba (Prof.) Adeyemi Abdulkabir Obalanlege has given the Onilogbo of Ilogbo, Ota, Oba (Dr.) Samuel Olufemi Ojugbele 24hrs ultimatum to retreat the Baale he installed in Ewupe, Ota.
The Olota, while speaking with VOA News correspondent said that Ewupe is within his territory and that Onilogbo has no right whatsoever to install Baale on same. He further added that whosoever parades himself as Baale or install anyone as Baale in Ewupe is committing a treasonable offense.
It will be recalled that Oba (Dr.) Samuel Ojugbele had before now installed a Baale in Ewupe, a move that did not go down well with Olota in that the former has over stepped his bounds and has encroached on the later’s territory, VOA News gathered.
Ewupe, Ota is a popular town behind Oju-Ore, Ota and extends to Etiwara river which borders Ilogbo and Ota. It also shares boundary with Isorosi and Oloko towns in Ota.
