Academic Convenience: Justrite Superstores Gift Iganmode Grammar School, Ota (Junior) Furnitures
One of the leading supermarket stores in Nigeria, Justrite Superstores has donated one hundred furnitures to Iganmode Grammar School, Ota (Junior) to ease academic exercise in the school.
While delivering the 100 pieces of furnitures to the school, Justrite Human Resources Manager, Mr Kadri Agboola, said that the donation was in line with the supermarket’s numerous corporate social responsibilities policies.
He said that his organization decided to look in the school’s direction for the furniture donation because of increasing population of the students which has almost ‘made learning impossible’.
Mr. Kadiri said that ‘good learning environment’ eases the rate at which teaching and learning takes place and as such; individuals, corporate bodies as well as other relevant stakeholders in the society should not leave school’s development at the mercy of government only.
While taking delivery of the furnitures, the School’s Principal, High Chief Mrs Olukemi Adeogun, appreciated the kind donation from Justrite Superstores as she said the hundred pieces of furniture will accommodate over 400 students in the ratio of 4 students to 1.
She said that the donation was timely as it will assist the school in planning for emergence of Covid-19 3rd wave.
Chief Mrs Adeogun said that the furnitures would be judiciously utilised as proper monitoring would be ensured in to make them stand the test of time. She called on other relevant stakeholders in the society to emulate Justrite Superstores as ‘quality education with ease is the right of every child’.
In a similar twist, Chief Mrs Adeogun, has through the efforts of the PTA, built two blocks of toilets for the school.
While appreciating the efforts of the parents, she reiterated that the toilet facility was important for convenience purposes.
