Again, Ijana Youths Palliate Deplorable Roads In Ota
For the second time within a month, a youth group under the auspices of Ijana Youths, has on Sunday, mended some roads begging for government’s attention within Ota metropolis.
The group’s Secretary, Mr. Toyin Alani who spoke on behalf of the spokesperson, Comrade Lawal Ganiyu, said, the continuous intervention exercises being carried out by the group was necessary because of the terrible condition of roads within Ijana, Ota axis.
He assured that the group will not relent in its effort to compliment government’s efforts as the routine maintenance exercise is now to be carried out weekly in order to prevent the roads from total collapse.
Mr. Ogunseye affirmed that the Special Assistant to the Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Mr. Lawal Olamilekan’s visit to the youths in Ota a week ago was to commend their efforts, bravery and selflessness. A move which has further ignited the passion for community services in them.
He advised other youth groups to replicate same in their quarters as doing so will further boost commercial activities in Ota and Ogun state at large.
