APC Chieftain Lauds Lagos-Ogun Development Commission
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Tope Akintunde, has hailed Governor Dapo Abiodun and his Lagos State counterpart, Babajide Sanwo-Olu over the Memorandum of Understanding (Mou), signed on the establishment of Lagos-Ogun Development Commission.
Akintunde, the Chief Executive Officer of Aerofield Homes, said the initiative was a bold step to develop the states.
According to him: “What drives economy all over the world is partnership; the initiative is a good step to maximising the abundant potentials in human, financial and other natural resources that will ultimately help in creating better society and make life more bearable for all.
“For instance it is under initiative like this that both governors are combining strength to fix the impassable Sagamu-Ogijo-Ikorodu as well as Abeokuta-Sango-Lagos expressway among others. All these, when fixed will impact positively on the lives of the people.”
The APC chieftain added that “with the proximity of Ogun State to Lagos, it has a lot to tap from its huge economy and this I am sure is going to be a plus for the residents of the state.
“I hail Governor Abiodun for the creativity and that is simply because his administration in the last two years had majorly focused on efforts to make life better for the people,” he said.
