Breaking News!!! Low Turnout Of Voters As Ado Odo/Ota LG Commences Voting Exercise
The voting exercise scheduled for today 23rd of February has commenced in various parts of Ado/Odo-Ota Local Government Area in Ogun State. The simultaneous accreditation and voting system kick-started upon the arrival of the electorates.
VOA News correspondent stationed at ODC 2 reports that both accreditation and voting has commenced with a significantly low number of voters. It was also gathered that the card readers at first malfunctioned which was later resolved.
In another part of Ota, Ansar U Deen Practising School, our correspondent gathered that there are two polling units there, which are; polling units 006 and 034. However, an anonymous source hinted our correspondent that the polling units should be three in number since the number of voters exceeds Seven Hundred.
This implies that a 3rd division of the polling units which should cater for about Two Hundred and Fifty eligible voters can not be accounted for.
The Presiding Officer of the unit declined comment when he was approached for clarification on the issue.
