CORVID-19: “Keep Social Distance”, – Ado-Odo/Ota LG Secretary Urges Residents

The Secretary to Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Kola Lamidi Muyideen has urged residents to follow the directives and advisories issued by Ogun state government to decrease the spread of Coronavirus.

Kola Lamidi made it known to VOA correspondent on Thursday during a conversation on how to educate citizen about the spread of Corvid-19 pandemic.

Lamidi urged residents to support government in fight against corvid-19 by obeying directives and advisories being given by government agencies. He emphasized mostly on worship centers in Ado-Odo, urging them to practice social distancing to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus disease.

He furthered that, the LG caretaker chairman, Alhaji Wasiu lawal and other members of the house has provided two isolation centers for suspect, one in Ado-Odo (The Hall Built By Senator Akin Odunsi) and Ota which is Ijamido town hall, since the government has shut down parties and any form of social gathering.

Lamidi Advised residents to stop handshakes and hugs; stressing the need for personal hygiene at this time which can not be over emphasized.
