“Amikanle is one of the foremost Awori towns in Alimosho local government. Our progenitor, late Pa Yesufu Ogundairo laid a good legacy for we his descents and as such, we have to protect and guide jealously, our inheritance. I, alongside the youth of this community have been standing in the gap for our people in terms of protection of lives and properties long before I became a Baale. Some people will give us a distress call that they have been robbed or attacked, and I will gather our boys and quickly intercede. But now that I have been saddled with the responsibility of being the Chief Security Officer of the people of Amikanle, we needed to establish a legitimate security watch to safeguard our people as well as their properties”.

He charged youth of his community who are members of ‘Amikanle Security Watch’ to be law abiding. Urging them not to take laws into their own hands. He enjoined them to assist the law enforcement agencies in discharging their duties, viz; protection of lives and properties of indigenes and residents of Amikanle.
