Sheikh Nasirudeen Sa’adudeen Ajara has lauded the moves by monarchs in Ota for staging a public Ramadan lecture, describing it as a laudable move which will teach the people the way of Almighty Allah.

Sheikh Nasirudeen Sa’adudeen Ajara said this at the Ijana square of Ijana quarter, Ota during a public Ramadan lecture which was organized by the Ajana of Ijana, HRH Oba Clement Akinyemi to sensitize other monarchs as well as Muslim faithfuls in Ota on the importance of Ramadan fasting and doing the will of Allah at all times.

Sheikh Nasirudeen, while delivering his lecture, expressed his happiness at the turn out of the gathering in that history has been made as there has been efforts in the past to put together a gathering which comprises mostly, monarchs and other relevant stakeholders in the society.

He reiterated that it was out of God’s benevolence that they are occupying whatever position or whichever capacity they are commanding.

Reminding them that before ascension to the throne, they were not the only individuals that contested the respective stool, hence they should govern as people who are going to give account of their deeds.

Adding that establishing everything they do within the space of their reign is being documented for evaluation in the after life.

The convener, HRH Oba Clement Olusegun Akinyemi in an interview with VOA News correspondent, expressed his joy, having been able to initiate the gathering. He added that the month of Ramadan, being a holy month, makes prayers and supplications being answered.
