Ogun Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun Commissions Project Built By Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government

The executive governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who was ably represented by his Deputy, Engr. Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Afolabi Afuape, has on Monday, commissioned some projects embarked upon by the Alhaji Lawal Wasiu led’s administration in Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of the state.

Hon. Afuape, while commissioning the lock up shops at Ado-Odo, said, Alhaji Lawal Wasiu’s led administration has touched the heart of his people with the projects which he described as ‘timely and life saving’. He said that the efforts of the council’s interim Chairman within the short time spell that he has been in power, showed that he has his people at heart.

He advised the Chairman not to relent in his quest to delivering good governance to the people of Ado-Odo/Ota local government as the projects were in line with Prince Dapo Abiodun’s led administration.

The Deputy Governor, in her short speech during the commissioning of a Health Care Centre at Ilogbo, Ota, commended the efforts of Hon. Lawal Wasiu and his team for touching the lives of their people in no distance time that they clinched on to power as interim administrators of the council.

She added that Prince Dapo Abiodun’s administration will not relent in his efforts in making sure that he delivers on his campaign promises.

Engr. Noimot assured the people of Ota that their administration has not neglected them, rather, they are working round the clock in making sure that they find a lasting solution to the myriads of infrastructural deficits in the local government, especially, road infrastructure.

While speaking with VOA News correspondent shortly after the commissioning, the interim Chairman, Alhaji Lawal Wasiu, thanked his team as well as career officers and entire local government staff for teaming up with him in putting smiles on the faces of his people.

He said the love he has for his people and the quest to make Ado-Odo/Ota local government the most sorted after council in the state, inspired his project execution spree which he embarked upon.

Alhaji Lawal assured that his administration will not go to sleep until they touch the lives of the people through project constructions and effective administrations.

Among those who graced the commissioning included but not limited to; former House of Assembly Member in the state and currently Commissioner, Judicial Service Commission, Hon. Aina Akinpelu, the Head of Local Government Administration, Pastor Dr. Adesanya, DGSA, Mr. Oloruntoba Dada, Alagbara of Agbara land, HRM Oba Lukman Jayeola Agunbiade.
