Oloja Ekun Of Igbesa Receives Ji’ Masun’s 80 Community Development Initiative Beneficiaries
The Oloja Ekun of Igbesa land, HRM Oba AbdulAzeez Oluwatoyin Akinde, has on Saturday, received 80 empowered youth of Ji’ Masun Community Development Initiative.
Presenting the beneficiaries to Oba Akinde, Mr. Jimoh Luqman, the team lead of Ji’ Masun Initiative, said that the 80 empowered beneficiaries have been trained in different skills; ranging from tailoring, shoe making, fashion designing and other relevant skills for the past six months.
He emphasized that the indigenous beneficiaries were selected from Igbesa, Ejila and Erinla communities to benefit from the scheme and that they have completed the various trainings.
While receiving the beneficiaries, Oba Akinde lauded Mr. Jimoh for his giant stride in making sure that youth in Igbesa acquire relevant skills. He charged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the skills they have acquired for their own immediate gain and for the overall development of Igbesa and its adjoining town.
Recall that Ji’ Masun Community Initiative had, sometimes in 2019, facilitated free health services for indigenes and residents of Igbesa community.
