Olota Elect Receives Bobakeye Social Club, Assures The Club, Town Better Time

One of the most notable social and elite clubs in Ota and Awori land today paid a courtesy visit to the Olota of Ota elect, HRH Oba Dr. AbdulKabir Adeyemi Obalanlege.

VOA news gathered that the meeting was to fast track developmental moves for the town. While introducing the group to the Oba elect, the Iyalode of Bobakeye, Alhaja Fausat Olusesi, who is the wife of the Chairman, Ogun State Civil Service Commission said the group which was officially launched this year was to assist the King to initiate, execute and review policies that can spun the web of development for the town.

She emphasized that the the group has sworn to use its wealth of experience to bring progress to the town. She further assured the new Olota that if the group could garner maximum cooperation from him and the palace, it will not lose nor jeopardize the relationship the group and the palace is about to initiate.

In her own submission, the Secretary of the group, Yeye-Oge Olukemi Adeogun showered encomium on the new Oba elect. In her words, “The town is so lucky to have a monarch in the pedigree of HRH Oba Dr. Adeyemi Obalanlege, Ota, being a foremost Awori town and the most industrialized town in Ogun State, the town could not afford to have someone lesser in pedigree than the Oba elect”.

While addressing the group, the Oba elect, HRH Oba Dr. AbdulKabir Adeyemi Obalanlege appreciated their efforts. He promised to further strengthen the relationship the group has initiated through their visit to the palace in order to ensure sustainable development. He however, admonished the group not to relent in their quest for promoting what Ota and Awori land is known for as they are one of the relevant stakeholders in the community.

Hon. Ola Bello, in his thank you message to the group, lauded their effort on behalf of the palace. He however assured them of long lasting relationship between the group and the palace.
