Olota Gifts Patrol Vehicle To Navy School Of Music, Ota

The Olota of Ota HRM Prof. Adeyemi Abdulkabir Obalanlege has gifted a patrol vehicle to the Nigeria Navy Music School, Ota.

The monarch, who was absent on an official assignment was represented by the Onilogbo of Ilogbo, HRM Oba Dr. Samuel Ojugbele, donated the Mercedes wagon car to the Navy Command at the Olota’s Palace earlier today.

According to the Onilogbo of Ilogbo who spoke on behalf of Olota, the donation of the vehicle has been long overdue, considering the security challenges in the country at present.

He added that the Patrol Vehicle will enable the Navy to carry out surveillance in the community which will further beef up security

The seriki of ota, chief spoke on behalf of the king, he was full of accolades for the Olota, saying the king had long promised to help the security operatives in the community to combat the security challenges. Hence, this is one of the many helps the security agencies would get from the community.

He thereby commended Olota of Ota for fulfilling his promise.

Navy commandant Ubani, thanked the Olota of Ota and the other kings for the kind gestures showed to them.

He noted that the vehicle will help them carry out their activities effectively.

The dignitaries present at the palace were the Onitetiku of Owode Ota, HRM. Oba Abdulwasiu Ogungbayi, The Ajana of Ijana Ota, Oba Clement Akinyemi, The Onikotun of Otun, Oba Hakeem Odunaro, Onidi Oke of Idi-oke, HRm Oba Saheed Odunsanya, Onilogbo of Ilogbo, Onigboko of Igboko land, among others.
