Onigun of Odan Abuja, HRM Oba Rigali Aromobi Bamgbose Celebrates 20 Years On The Throne
His Royal Majesty, Oba Rigali Aromobi Bamgbose, the Onigun of Odan Abuja yesterday celebrated 20 years since he ascended the throne of his ancestors. The anniversary, which came up at his palace birthed the launching of 10 million ultramodern palace which is under construction; also, the rehabilitation of over four years out of use electricity facility.
The water ways as well as impassable roads leading to the palace of Oba Rigali witnessed what we can term an unusual patronage as residents, government functionaries, monarchs, trade and artisan groups all trooped out en masse to felicitate with the Kabiyesi.
The event bears so much significance for Kabiyesi as over the last 20 years he ascended the throne, a lot of development has affected Odan Abuja community. this tells that aside the celebration of years of sitting on the throne, he’s also celebrating 20 years of good and peaceful leadership.
Oba Rigali, in his address, thanked the Almighty God for seeing him thus far and for also helping him to re-position the ancient town of Odan Abuja. He said that in his 20 years reign as a monarch in Odan Abuja, a lot of developmental facilities has visited the town.
The Honorable representing Ado-Odo/Ota in the National Assembly, Hon. Jimoh Ojugbele, while speaking with VOA Entertainment correspondent, lauded Oba Rigali for being a level headed and disciplined man. He charged the people of Odan Abuja and entire Awori to see community development as key to benefiting from the President Muhammad Buhari led administration. He stressed the need for electorates to be guided by their choice of candidate in the 2019 elections.
Asiwaju of Igbesa land and former commissioner for finance in Lagos state, Chief Muhammad Olagbaye lauded the Kabiyesi for being a man of valour. He further prayed the kabiyesi should have longer life so as to further take the town to the league of enviable towns in the society.
While speaking with VOA Entertainment, the Chief Imam of Igbesa land Fadilak Sheikh Ojoijo described Kabiyesi as a man of God to the core. He said that his love for Allah was un-quantifiable. He prayed God to give him more life to enjoy himself and to serve him.
Dignitaries that also graced the occasion included; the Onilogbo of Ilogbo, HRH Oba Dr. Samuel Ojugbele, the Onijanikin of Onijankin, HRM Oba Mohammed Ashafa, among several others.
