“Save Our Souls From Land Grabbers Threatening Our Lives And Damaging Our Properties”, Araromi Orita Community Tells Gov. Dapo Abiodun

Araromi Orita community in Ogun state has sent a ‘save our soul’ message to the Executive Governor of the state, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

This was contained in a letter that was written by members of the community and sent to VOA News to the Governor of the state to save them from suspected land grabbers who are victimizing them in the community.

“We are appealing to the Governor of Ogun state, Commissioner of Police and Olota of Ota to help us curb threats to our lives, and destruction of our properties by Alhaji Mutairu Owoeye.

We don’t want any trouble whatsoever in Araromi Orita community because we are a peace loving people.

Araromi Orita and its suburbs belongs to Idowu Alori family of Ota according to the High court ruling sitting at Ota with suit number HCT/291/II and Plan number MOO/OG94/012, and it is not included in the appeal court ruling that Alhaji Mutairu Owoeye got at the court of appeal”.

The letter, that was signed by the Baale of the community, Chief Segun Odeyemi is appealing to relevant stakeholders in Ogun state to help put to check, the excesses of Alhaji Owoeye in Araromi Orita and its environs.
