The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Area command, Ondo town, Ondo state Police command, Prince Bola Ojugbele has fed the less privileged and vulnerable in his community.
Prince Bola Ojugbele, whom some people have described as a ‘free giver’ owing to his philanthropic way of catering for the needy and financially challenged in his community.
While speaking with VOA News correspondent, Prince Bola said the need to assist his people, especially those in need at this crucial ‘sit at home’ order necessitated the need for his action.
One of the beneficiaries, Ramota Asalu, who spoke with our correspondent, lauded the initiative of Prince Bola Ojugbele. In her words, ‘they asked us to sit at home, what are we going to be eating? Our children are hungry and there is no money to buy food stuffs. So, we are so happy that our Prince has come to our aid’.
Another beneficiary, Aina Kubura who lent her voice on Prince Ojugbele’s kind gesture said it came at the right time as the price of food stuffs has risen drastically, and has since became unbearable.
VOA News learnt that Prince Ojugbele’s kind gesture is not limited to the above as he provides food for 108 aged people every month. Also, he has 11 indigenes and 3 non- indigenes, a visually impaired student inclusive.
