The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) has on Monday informed the fresh candidates of its school to avoid any form of Fresher’s Night party which has not been approved by the school.
This type of gathering, the management said has been tagged illegal and prohibited, hence any student who is found violating this warning will face disciplinary actions.
According to a statement signed by the media group of the school, which stated that ‘the attention of the management has been drawn to the planned illegal gathering “Fresher’s Night” by some unscrupulous element.’
“The statement however added, “the safety of every student of our institution (Mapoly) is Paramount, hence, all new students are hereby warned to stay away from such gathering as it has been declared illegal and prohibited.
“There would be an intensive surveillance around the campus as security personnel are on red alert to curb any form of ‘Illegal gathering’.
“Students are further warned to be resolute at protecting their dignity and sanity within and outside the Polytechnic’s walls, as anyone, who violates this directive shall be made to face disciplinary actions.”
